Water and sanitation and Hygiene Projects

When earthquakes or major storms devastate a region’s infrastructure, water insecurity can create an epidemic. Bacteria from stagnant pools or streams penetrate the city’s fractured water system and lead to potentially deadly diseases such as cholera. By teaming up with communities after emergencies we can provide safe drinking water and assist with repairing water lines and improving filtration systems. Still, some developed countries lack adequate, safe water even though there hasn’t been a natural disaster. Providing water treatment packets and conducting workshops about the importance of proper hygiene is another tactic we’ll employ.
